Sometimes SafeStack Academy emails are tagged as spam. Here are a few tips to make sure our emails are getting in front of learners.
SafeStack Academy will occasionally send you emails, specifically for:
- Password resets
- New course announcements
- Upcoming community-only and public seminars
Sometimes, these emails get marked as spam (manually or by your email provider) which might lead to us having difficulty reaching out to you and your learners.
To make sure our emails are getting in front of your learners, there are two things you can do:
1. Consider adding our domain safestack.io to your safe senders list. That way future emails from us don't go into the junk mailbox.
For tips on how to do this for Microsoft email users, you can follow their instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/block-or-allow-junk-email-settings-48c9f6f7-2309-4f95-9a4d-de987e880e46
2. Report SafeStack Aacdemy emails as "not junk" when they are labeled as spam or junk. For some email providers, this helps their spam algorithms re-learn that our emails are safe when they were incorrectly flagged.
For tips on how to do this for Microsoft email users, you can follow their instructions here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/report-false-positives-and-false-negatives?view=o365-worldwide#rep[…]unk. This sends the selected email to Microsoft for analysis and will help reduce the chance of our emails not going into a junk folder.
